Fresh Wave, Fresh Wave, Fresh Wave...

If you caught me on Twin Cities Live (channel 5 m-f from 3-4pm) then you would know that I love Fresh Wave. Fresh Wave is a odor neutralizer that works like nothing I have tried in my life of odor removal.

If you want to give it a try come on in and ask anyone of our team members and they will completely fill you in.

It works well on the following scents or odors at my house-

  • kitchen cooking (bacon, seafood, etc)
  • Nursery (diaper pail)
  • My closet (all of shoe just sitting there)
  • Cat box (2 cats worth of smells)
  • Dog beds (2 dogs worth of smells)

I just really think Fresh Wave is a great product. Give it a try and let me know what you think. I bet you'll love it to.

Regards,

Its Summer time---- I think?

This has really been one of the strangest summers in history. I don't know if its global cooling or global warming or global "stay the same" but it is weird. Today the high is going to be 70 and I love it. Sure, I can't sit by the pool (I don't actually have a pool but I couldn't sit next to it if I wanted to) but I love this cooler weather.

You may have noticed that your grass is in near perfect shape- cool, wet, and slightly breezy makes for some nice looking grass. Just remember, even though it looks great you still have to kill off your weeds. Come on in and we can show you how to do it.

Many people have asked to see another picture of my new little girl Addie. Well here it is. My wife is calmly feeding Addie with one of my dogs sitting on her shoulder. What a lovely family!

I'm on TV! Come see my bald spot!

Hello,

I have had some very nice invites to be on TV lately. I have been on the new KSTP TV show Twin Cities Live and on FOX9 Morning News with MA Rosko.

Here is the link to the FOX9 segment. I really feel strange on TV. My wife constantly tries to help me out with pointers on how I can reduce the amount of time my bald spot can be seen (I haven't got that one yet). I did cut my hair real short so maybe next time I won't look so balding.

Anyways, take a look at the segments. It's about power washing your deck. If the link doesn't work just go to http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/ and click on the FOX9 Morning tab. That will take you to the story.

The link- http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/myfox/pages/InsideFox/Detail?contentId=649434

or http://www.twincitieslive.com/ The segment is about lawn care.

I hope that the links will work!

Talk to you soon,

Mike

PS- It was great meeting all of you that stopped by our new Lake street store for our grand opening celebration! I can't believe we were as crazy as we were with temps in the beautiful high 20's!

Grand Opening on Lake Street!

Our Grand Opening is set for April 25th, 26th, and 27th. We are going to have some unbelievable deals and a bunch of giveaways for the first people in the store on all 3 days. Free food each day starting at 11am. Manny's Tortas, The Rail Station and Holy Land will be filling everyone up with their great food!

I can't wait- please come by and introduce yourselves. Larry (my father), Tom (my brother) and I will all be there all day each day.

Okay- a side note- I know my grammar is not perfect. Sadly, I write like I speak and I usually speak at 10 miles a minute. So please, cut me a little slack (my wife is the biggest complainer).

Another side note- the baby is doing just great. She is starting to smile at me and that just totally melts my heart. If you haven't had a baby I suggest that you give it a try. lol.

See you all on Friday the 25 of April at 3915 E. Lake Street. I even think that the Mayor is going to make it- I guess he's a big fan of hardware???

If you have questions give me a call at 651-288-8888.

Thanks,

Mike Frattallone

Congratulations to us!

Exciting news for Frattallone's Ace Hardware and Garden and me and my wife. We opened our new lake street store and things have really jumped off with a bang. We are meeting a ton of great new customers and it is just a blast. So far, people appear to love the new store- the best part is that we aren't totally done putting it together. We still have to get our garden center built and get the building painted, etc.

As for my news- my wife Jill had are little baby girl! She was born on the 25th of Feb and weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces. She is just the cutest little girl in the world. She's not much of a sleeper but I heard that gets better someday.

Thanks for all of the kind words and I'll see you in the stores!

Merry Christmas!

We have been selling Christmas Trees like crazy. This will surely be our biggest year ever! I don't know if you all know this but we are opening a new store at 3915 E. Lake St. in Minneapolis. We plan on opening in late January, although it may be early February.

I have had some calls in the last couple of days about Snow Blower Sale pricing. Well, sometimes at the end of a slow snow season we have extra units that we want to sell off. That will not be the case this season. Toro, the manufacturer, is running very low on units for the rest of the winter. In fact, they are out of many of their best sellers already.

If you are thinking about buying a Snow Blower this winter I would highly suggest that you do it sooner than later. Our pricing is always set at Toros lowest suggested retail. That means that no one in the market will ever under sell us and we are an authorized Toro Service Center. If you buy a machine from us, and you have a problem, you bring it directly to us. If you buy one some where else you may still have to bring it to us for service. I'm rambling.

Call me if you have any questions and have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a wonderful New Year!

Its COLD! And I'm having a baby...

Winter is coming and I am a very bad blogger. Sorry about that. Just to get you up to speed on what's happening at Frattallones.... Let me make a list-

  • Christmas Decor is filling our stores with Holiday Cheer.
  • Christmas Trees are coming soon- mid November.
  • I'm having a baby, well actually, my wife is having the baby. Its a girl and we are naming her Adelaide or Addie for short (not many people know that so keep it hush hush for now). She is due Feb. 27th.
  • Lawn mowers are starting to come in for winter storage. We store it all winter long and give it a tune up and then return it to you in spring. It cost about $90 for the entire service (more details available at the stores or call me at 651-288-8888)

Well, that's it for now. Have a wonderful winter and I'll see you in the stores...
